Proposed Parking Charges from 1st April 2025

STOP PRESS! Imposition of these charges has been postponed until at least 28 April

Basildon Council are proposing to impose swingeing new parking charges from 1st April. Unless they change their minds, the following charges wil apply from 8am - 6pm, seven days a week. It will be a cashless, ticketless system - i.e. you will need to use a mobile phone to pay!

There is even a suggestion that evening charges will also be imposed (possibly at a reduced rate)!

Proposed rates are:-

1 hour - £1.10

2 hours - £1.60

4 hours - £3.50
