President's Charity Day

I would like to thank most sincerely those Members who supported my Charity Day today.
The weather was very kind to us, even if the condition of the green left much to be desired !!
After some very competitive bowling Barbara Rowland and her partner Ron Kreamer and Hazel Smith and her partner David Osborn entertained us with an enjoyable final.
Barbara and Ron emerged as the winners and very generously donated their winnings back to the charity fund.
The monies raised at this event, together with those donated on President's Day, and a generous donation from Gordon Cook, now amount to £288-50 and will be sent to Macmillan Cancer Support at the end of the season.
Again my very sincere thanks.
David Palmer
